The wife and I decided to get a gerbil on Saturday night. Her name is Molly Morsch, the gerbil. She is completely black. So far all she does is hide in her house which is a stationery box. We decided that if we can take care of a gerbil then we are ready to have kids.

You're not right. Unless your gerbil weighs 7 pounds, and you carry a giant carseat everywhere, and a huge diaper bag, and you never get to do anything and have no friends because you're always taking care of your gerbil. Then...then maybe you're ready to have kids.
